LED Emitter
Back to OverviewBS 625161
LED emitters of the BS 625*** series are used for the illumination of underground mines in hazardous areas of the category M2.
The emitter consists of a metal enclosure with safety glass pane and it contains 9 - 12 LED for various applications. The Ex I emitter is produced with a plastic coated steel enclosure. Power supply is achieved via cables or intrinsically safe plug connectors from affiliated power supply units.
In mines the intrinsically safe emitter is suitable for mobile and stationary equipment like storage-battery and diesel locomotives, locomotives, working platforms, dinting and loading machines, selective and full cut heading machines.

- Version with 12 high power LED (80 lm/Watt)
- The LED emitter offers the following optional functions:
o Passing light with 3 high power LED (350 mA)
o Long distance light with 6 high power LED and passing light 3 high power LED (1.1 A)
o Reversing light with 3 red high power LED (350 mA)
o Permanent light with 12 white high power LED (1.4 A) - The LED optics and the LED colours may be adapted to customer's requirements, optionally with flashers.
The emitter consists of a two-part metal enclosure with safety glass pane and it contains 9 - 12 LED for various applications. Power supply is achieved via cables or intrinsically safe plug connectors from affiliated power supply units.
The emitter is connected to an intrinsically safe 12 V/1.4 - 2.2 A power supply unit by means of an SKK 24 connector, an ODU connector or a cable entry.
The set of brackets used for mounting the emitter is available as an additional accessory.
